Lets start at the begining

The sea kayaks finished, the stand up paddle boards finished, and I’ve found a venue where I’ll be able to put the boat together. I ordered my study plans from Francois Vivier and he very conveniently emailed them to me.

As is the case with these things it all looked very confusing and daunting to start with. I had grand ideas of ordering the CAD files from the designer, which is an option with these plans and having all the components CNC cut. But once I factored in the exchange rate from Euros to $AUS for the CAD files and the cutting fee per sheet of ply, I decided to go the more labour intensive but low cost loft and hand cut option!
